ACIDO CITRICO is an organic acid, widespread in nature, for example in citrus fruit but also in kiwifruit, grapevine, etc. Citric acid is mainly produced through the fermentation of Aspergillus niger fungus; this method allows to obtain a natural and extremely pure product. Citric acid appears as a white crystalline (micro scales) powder and it is extremely soluble in water. It is largely used as acidity regulator (e.g. drinks), as anti-limescale and to acidify solutions.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
The use of citric acid is recommended to obtain solutions with acid or sub-acid pH and to reduce limestone. ACIDO CITRICO should be used in the unaltered state, directly inside the solution to be acidified.
30-60 g every 100 lt of solution. In order to determine the optimal dosage, it is recommended to use acid-base indicators (litmus paper or pH meter).
